Before You Visit & What to Expect

Please take a moment to review the following important information before your appointment to ensure a smooth and relaxing experience.

Each session lasts approximately 60–90 minutes.
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to check in, store your personal belongings, and complete any necessary paperwork.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment to avoid affecting the next guest.
Arrivals 20 minutes or more late may result in automatic cancellation, and your deposit may be charged according to our cancellation policy.

Your treatment includes a microscopic scalp analysis, customized deep cleansing, and relaxing scalp care.
Please remove wigs, dreadlocks, braids, or fixed hairstyles before your appointment so we can properly access your scalp.
Our products are gentle and color-safe; however, they may not be suitable for maintaining Brazilian Blowouts, keratin treatments, or similar smoothing services.

Your appointment time is primarily dedicated to your scalp treatment and care.
A full blowout or finished hairstyle is not included with your scalp treatment.
A basic dry is provided, and we also offer a self-service styling station for touch-ups after your treatment.
Our styling station includes hair dryers, a Dyson straightening dryer, brushes and combs, curl mousse, hair oil, and finishing spray so you can refresh your hair before leaving.

If you are planning to receive Face Yoga, we recommend avoiding fillers, Botox, chemical peels, and laser treatments for at least two weeks before your appointment.
Face Yoga is not recommended if you have open wounds, active or inflamed breakouts, or significant skin irritation in the treatment area.
Please complete your intake form carefully and let us know about any recent cosmetic procedures, skin sensitivities, or concerns before your treatment.
Open communication with your therapist helps us provide the safest and most appropriate experience for you.

If you have extra-long or very thick hair, please let us know when booking so we can allow appropriate time.
An additional $20–$50 charge may apply based on hair length and density.

We recommend avoiding jewelry during your appointment.
If jewelry is removed, please keep it with your personal belongings. We are not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Lockers are available for your belongings. Please remember to leave the locker key before departing.

You will receive automatic appointment reminders from our booking system.
Your message may include required intake forms and waivers. Please complete all forms before arriving for your appointment.
If you are booking an appointment for a friend or guest, please message us with their full name, phone number, and email address.
Once we have their information, we can send the intake forms and waivers directly to them to complete before their visit.

Companions are welcome to wait in our lounge; however, seating is limited.
For longer appointments, we recommend that companions enjoy one of the nearby cafés or shops while you relax.

We welcome guests ages 8–16 with a parent or legal guardian present in the treatment room throughout the entire service.

Our treatment rooms are shoes-off zones to help maintain a clean and relaxing environment.
Sanitized spa slippers will be provided.

SKA Scalp is designed to be a peaceful, restorative space.
Please keep conversations and phone volume low and be mindful of other guests enjoying their treatments.

A basic dry focused on the scalp and roots is included.
Blowouts, hairstyling, and finished styling are not included.
For guests with thick, long, or curly hair, our self-service styling station is available for touch-ups.
Concerned about frizz after your treatment? Feel free to bring a hat for your comfort.

Some treatments use naturally derived aromatic ingredients such as lavender, peppermint, and Dead Sea mud.
If you have any allergies, skin sensitivities, scalp concerns, or relevant medical conditions, please notify our team before your treatment.
